Today's Nature/Adventure Photography Class

Today I taught a nature photography class to the 5th-8th graders from The Vail Academy--a school in Avon, Colorado. We hiked up to Hanging Lake--a popular hike in Glenwood Canyon, 30 miles west of Avon. The weather was rainy, foggy, snowy and a little sunny. I'm very excited to see the photos the students captured today. With the variety of weather, it should make for some beautiful images! The students were lots of fun, and had a good day despite the cold, wet weather. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge with new photographers! I hope I inspired them to keep taking photos! Next summer I'm going to hold some nature photography workshops in the Vail area. Details/dates have not been finalized, but if you are interested please email me and I can get you more information.
