Summer/Fall Photography Classes

I am teaching summer/fall photography classes in the Vail/Eagle area. The following classes are offered throughout the summer on a group and private basis. Please contact me: (970)471-4416 or codydownardphoto@yahoo.com for information on scheduling and pricing.
Introduction to Photography: This class is typically held over the course of one week, to allow for practice time between sessions. It consists of two, 2 hour sessions. This class is an introduction to the world of photography--the first session introduces camera functions, exposure, composition and lots more, while the second session consists of hands-on learning and practicing a variety of photography styles and techniques including: nature, portraits, etc. You will leave this class with a strong knowledge of how to operate your camera and how to take some really great photographs.
Intermediate Photography: This class builds on what we learned in Intro. to Photography. We will continue our exploration into the world of photography and more specialized work, such as: flash photography, macro photography, sports, portraiture, etc.
Wildflower Workshop: We will venture out into the mountains surrounding Vail for the day, and capture one of summer's most beautiful natural displays. These workshops take place between July 15 and August 15. A basic knowledge of photography is required for this workshop, but we will cover lots of technical aspects of camera functions and the artistic aspects of photography.
Fall Foliage Workshop: The last two weeks of September in Colorado are a spectacular time to learn about photography. This all day workshop will take place around Edwards and will take us into some of the most beautiful areas around the Vail Valley, showcasing the changing Aspen leaves. A basic knowledge of photography is required for this workshop, but we will cover lots of technical aspects of camera functions and the artistic aspects of photography.
